2 Saturdays back, we celebrated Yin's birthday at East Coast Park! (This was few days after the surprise at PastaMania and the bbq stayover i mentioned before) I already blogged a little about it so i wont be texting much words here okay (:

Bee, Chenmin, Yin and me holding her birthday presents (:
The happy birthday girl with her backpack (is it spelled like that?) and windmill. We wanted to get the YakPak brand bag but it was sold out. Somehow, i like this Dickies' black bag with colourful stars. The rest of 'em chose black too thou white is more Yin's colour because she will no doubt dirty the bag by throwing it everywhere! Haha! (8 years friendship already can say bad things about each other blatantly on blog) The bag makes em want to go "RAWR" and showing this sign \m/.

Prettypretty windmill done by Bee (: There are all of our pictures on it. So sweeet. I want one too! *hint*

Four happy people though not having much food in our tummies.
After the crazy night of driving around Min's car, riding around bicycles, alcohol, junkfood and chatfests, the ngiht was almost over. Min went back first, Bee and I fell asleep on our mats. Yin, not tired at all, went to wait for the sunrise and took pictures to share with us. Aww... how soothing. Mother nature just needs to turn down the coolness abit and it's all perfect. Let's really do it again, bbq or no bbq. (:
On to some other random things...Last month, baby and i celebrated
our 19month anniversary (:

Our nicenicenice cake (: That makes at least 19 cakes we've had together, not including our birthdays and such. Hehs.

Boil, boil, boil! Double bubble, boil and trouble...
(i dont know if it's the right phrase but it just came into mind) i prepared Sweet Corn Soup for him bout 2 months ago when it was sooo cold and raining every night. Imagine warm soup in a cold weather... hmmm. How could he resist? HAHA. He came over to have some and brought the rest home for supper (: It was sweet and good enough for him but it wasnt wonderful enough fer me. I will improve!
Last month,
we also finally planted after saying it looooong ago.

Just 2-3 days after planting. I forgot the name of the flower :x We added some tiny lil baby plants from my parents' plants. Lol.

It seems like it's growing right under my nose! Oh wait... That was my camera moving.

Here's our plant after a few weeks of sitting at the balcony at the corner of my kitchen. I think we put too many seeds and our soil+fertiliser were too good so there's a case of overcrowding starting. I took the picture from this view to compare the plant with the design of the pot. Haha. We bought this pot at IKEA many outraegous months ago. I love Ikea shopping with my boy!
Im not sure how the plant is doing now because we shifted it over to baby's house. He said the overcrowding has gotten worse cause the tiny plants at the side were ALL growing up too :(
Since we're talking about celebrations...
Everybody say HI to
FatFat! (: FatFat's our loved Teddy and he's been with us for quite awhile. I bought him for baby when his old softtoy (
dont laugh! im sure all of you has old bolsters, pillows <--that's me, and plushies that were with you since you were a baby okay) was dying :( When it was thrown away finally
(after being in his baby photos and on his bedside. hehs, cute!), i bought this Ted from my old workplace to take its place. We put him together, dressed him up and named him!

Happy us with happy FatFat. Baby's picture with him was when he was just a few days old and i made him bring it out to meet me. Haha. My picture was much more recent. Anyway, we realized that his birthday is coming soon and i got overexcited seeing his photos again so im blogging about it in advance. Come November 14, FatFat will be
1 year old! We're getting 2 cakes and im
so gonna celebrate it for him with something special! I dont care if you find me/us childish! bleah~
All right, im almost done with my random post. I need to past the computer to my brother as im already half hour overtime. His comp crashed so he needs mine to do his work, due tml. Tsk, bad sister. One last thing!

Twilight! Tis' a novel bought for me by the boyfriend last month+
(thanks love!). Im 3/4 through the book only because i only dared read it when my food will not dirty the book. Y'all should know my favourite indulgence is to
read, eat junkfood and do it all lying down on the couch by now. Hence, i only read the book when im in bed at first. Now, i read it when im eating safe food and im extra careful not to dirty it (: Heard that this novel is very popular expecially with women in their office ladies' age. Somehow, i've never seen anyone holding it like what he and my brother said. Weird. I haven brought it out to read before cause it's rather big to fit into my small bags.
Side view and back view of Twilight. I love books with pretty covers (: So far, i find it quite a nice book. Very different and interesting. (im sorry dear, but i dont find it very astonishingly nice like how others raved about it. i dont know why. Boohoos. Im sure it will get better when im fianlly done with the book. Maybe i haven reached the climax yet.) I'll review it with a short post when im done with it okay? Meanwhile, you should just buy the novel too because it looks so pretty (:
Tadah! Im done for today. Have a good Sunday everybody! im going out for food with my besties and baby later~ (:

haircuts!

It was a great trip to Sentosa today! I dont really have much photos on my handphone cause most are taken on the teacher's and parents' camera. Think i took quite a lot. Lol. I'll post them up only when i can get them laa. I think this is why i should get myself
a camera. I prefer taking pictures using my W890i to doing so with others' camera, however much better they are. BECAUSE it takes a long time to get the pictures
(when you do get them) and i cant choose to blog about the event right after or whenever i want to do so. Hmm. Should really start checking the market for a nice
red camera.
Anyway, it was a hot day at Sentosa and i managed to get a healthy dose of sun. Or maybe, a lil too much because i am feverish now :( Boohoos. Hate the sorethroat that i've been having too.
Should i start rethinking my indulgences in junkfood every moment of the day? As if. pfft. Hopefully im fine in the morning cause it's Saturday, my most tiring day of the week with all the physical play classes.
Alrighty. After work, i met up with baby (: We finally went for his haircut together. We now share the same hairstylist
(the guy who did my permed tresses. lalala~). He cut his hair, then decided to play around by straightening baby's hair because his hair has always been curly wurly (: Temporary, of course.
This is how my boy looks after the haircut and straightening. Hehs. I LOVE IT. (though he prefers his curly hair back, without any styling wax) I kept trying to get him to look cool and not smile but he kept smiling. Haha. Love the hair man. Baby you sure you dont want to straighten it and style your hair everyday? huhhuhhuh? Okay la like your curly wurlies too x)

Here we are right outside my house. I insisted to take loads of photos with his 1-day-new-hair. Oh i cut my hair too but i doubt there's any difference. i just cut my fringe since i cant cut my permed hair though i would love a haircut every month
(it's also the first time i cut my hair with my hair clipped and tied up. Just grab my fringe, snipsnipsnip and 5mins im done. haha). It's been
2 months with my permed hair! It's not as permed now already and im not sure how long it's supposed to last. Till end of the year, i hope! Think i looked
ohsotired in the photo but you know why? That's cause i am! My energy was spent at Sentosa. Yawns.
I plan to sleep early today. Finally! I shall sleep by 1230am okay. I just need to munch on some food right before i sleep
(my favourite thing to do apart from being a couch potato with a book), and also have a nice chat with my love (:
See you in lalaland~!

Busy days, Field trip tomorrow!
Gah~ Im neglecting my blog again though im trying my best not to.
I've been busy with work and going out on my off days. Meeting
the bf for dinner, meeting the girls for nightouts here and there. Today's my off day too but i spent the day indulging in sleep, junkfood, novels and my boyfriend. Haha. I shall have a proper entry up soon okay!
Normally, Fridays are halfdays for me too because i teach the physical play/ gym classes at the Japanese Association instead. However, tomorrow will be a longer day because...
I'm going on a field trip!!*skips around the room*Im excited laa (: I requested to go on the field trip with the kids instead of teachin at JA and it was approved. So, im
heading to Sentosa tomorrow with a bunch of children. Teehee. Im not sure about the programme but i know we are definitely going to the Underwater World
(i still remember the funny slang when they announce the station on the monorail in the past. remember, yin?) and the Dolphin Lagoon. I have never been to the Dolphin Lagoon can! I guess this is my first proper field trip out with children since being in this field for the past years
(if you dont count trips to the nearby supermarket and parks :/). It seems so fun whenever i see a bunch of kids out with teachers at Sentosa and the Zoo ecetera. Now it's my turn!
Okay, i think i shouldnt be overly excited because the trip might not seem that great when compared with my high expectations. That's what happens when we expect too much, don cha think? Take for instance, going for a movie you have waited ages for and everyone tells you it's so WOW
(funny English i use. lol). When you are done watching the movie, you will somehow feel that it was
all right only. Hasnt it happened to you before? No? Really? Stop lying, it must have :p
Yepyep, so if you see me at Sentosa tomorrow with a bunch of cutesy pies, do say hi!
.jpg)
Here's one of 'em from my centre (but sadly he is not going on the field trip cause his class went to a play last Friday already). He is the equivalent (maybe a tad more mischievious) of my Chua Chengyi from my previous centre. Cute, mischievious yet very lovable. Tsk. I love such lil boys. Im not biased, really.
Nights! (:

say "just like a drug"
Teehee. Did you take extra time to load my blog this time round? I know, there are many small programs running on my blog but that's the way i like it (: This time it's longer cause i made a tiny amendment on my blogskin. Notice it? I wanted to edit the "Say i love you" from the start but it slipped my mind and i got used to it. However, i just felt like changing it suddenly so tadah! It was such fun editing the skin (:
Anyway, i spent quite a great deal of time playing with photoshop while doing this skin so i ought to rest my eyes already
(though i know i'll end up reading after this). I shall blog another day okay! I enjoyed my
Children's Day! It's back to work tomorrow. Oh well, i had my share of crazy moments in the past night with my girls again so im not complaining.
Update another day! Ciao! (:
-i love the book and im reading it every night, thinking of you. of course, i love you right back. Tuck a flower in my hair, will you?
