Balloons Balloons! And they fly~! I absolutely adore balloons filled w helium altho their shelf life is not long (: This was an unexpected surprise that was sent to my shop (workplace) 2 days back. It happened like this.

Sofia (1 of the managers-in-training) walked into e fitting room w a bunch of 8 balloons (i know you onli see 4 nw. be patient!)...

Me: Wow! How come got balloons? For the shop right? Whats e occasion? Or... for me! (joking)

Sofia: Yes it's for you! And Rain!

Me: huh???

Sofia thrusts the delivery slip with a card that has my name. It looks like this:

And i opened it up...


I have been nominated for what? "Casual of the month" I was actually thinking is it because i dress very casually for work -.- Rain was really surprised beside me too. Just then, our Regional Manager was beside and said (in his thick Australian accent), "it means part-timer (:" Sooooo... i was nominated for best part timer of the month. And they sent us balloons to let us know! How sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Just when i was thinking i would be quitting the job soon. Now i would feel like its wrong for me to quit after they nominate me for sucha thing. but i love e company n our head-in-charge and all but some of the other staff are.....

Isnt the company and our regional manager so sweet? tee-hee. i didnt realize im such a good worker what with the little shifts i have . :/ Anyway i chose the 4 that has e red n turquoise balloon of course and Rain chose e 1 with Blue. Perfect! (: As i finished my noon shift and waited for my bf to pick me up, i started taking pictures of the balloons that were stuffed in 1 dressing room. 1 that was already filled with our cartons of stock :x


Baby came and i grabbed my balloons happily to meet him. Before that, i met Yin for a toilet trip together since she was working at NewYork2 tt day too. lol. Then my bf helped Rain and i take a picture when the big boss has left.

There, there's Rain (: (Is it just me, or do my balloons look smaller than hers? lol.) Happy happy us :D Being so happy, i decided to share my balloons w my lifesize teddy. Don't you think he has a very Christmassy feel? (maybe cause of the santa hat i gave him)



Okay that's enough elaboration on my 4 balloons. Hehs.

Apart from my happiness at work, i've finally started searching for a proper job. I sent in 1 resume 2 nights ago and received a call in e morning asking for an interview. It was for the position of "Dance Instructor for children". It seems SO exciting. my 2 love in 1 job. and they sounded like they really wanted me. THEN, they dropped the bombshell on e phone.

"The interview will be in e East side, because the opening is for the East branch at East Coast Road, is that alright w you?"

I said i would go ahead w the interview first but called them up to change the interview to Saturday (since i will be headed East then). The Caucasian manager said to change it to Monday then if icant meet it on Friday. Then i told her that East location is a problem actually. (I found out it takes a train ride of about 22 stops and another bus of 23 stops to get there). and told her i will think about it and tell her by Monday. How now brown cow? :( I do not have a car. And i would need to leave home 2 hours early for work each day and travel a looong way home after a hard days work too. Besides, the company happens to be 1 where my friend is working as Asst. Gym instructor for e kids. and she doesnt reccommend me to join as she is trying to get out of it already :x but i figured asst. gym instructor is different from dance instructor?

Anyway, i totally cannot decide. its 4am on a Sunday now. This feeling scuks. I also found out that most of the kids entertainment venues are in the EAST. oh btw, i stay in e very WEST. Im looking a full-time job with children (as i have a Diploma in Early Childhood) but not teaching. It is VERY hard to find the job. And now that i have found 1, it's in the East.

Help? :( Let me know if there are any jobs like what i mentioned okay. I would love you for it. Not as much as my boyfriend though (: Im gonna blog about my Birthday celebrations like really soon okay? This entry is easier so i did this first. It's supposed to be a short entry thats why.
