This March on the 28th, 8.30pm is Earth Hour! Also called Lights Off Singapore for us (:

I found out about this from my brother a week ago and saw the short advertisement on tv today. It's a Saturday! Meaning i will be with my boy man as he books out for the first time from Tekong! I can spend Earth Hour with him!

Then i realized that i end work around 6 and by the time we meet up, he will probably not want to head out anywhere i had imagined in the midst of my excitement -picnic/stargazing at Esplanade ectera. I guess if you stay in you won't feel the difference even if you off your house lights because the building and street lights will still be on. And if i'm at his place (most probably), i can't march up to his parents while they're eating/watching tv and switch 'em all off right? :((((((((((((((((((((( So much for Lights Off.

Okay no excuses. I really wish to participate in this as it is a really appluadable (?) idea from Sydney not just because i have signed on at the site in my excitement. I basically love anything that us people can do together as a whole nation or world, whats more it's to save the earth! *injects cheerleader voice* I think such events seem too under publicised. I think there's Earth Day too right? Although it's not much, it's a start, and a milestone for us. I'm so glad my country is one of the 80 countries that participated, it makes me feel proud somehow. Aww... I love Singapore you know, and I love home, my family, boyfriend, friends... Okay i shall stop. Haha.

I will try as i might to make sure i am a part of Earth Day. "OFF THE LIGHTS, aunty and uncle!" I hope baby goes along with it! We could light a candle or sth... of course i'm not simply keen on this so that i can get a romantic lights off with baby... ........ LOL.
