Hi guys... I have been lounging about at home for almost a full week now with my MC, off day and leave.

It's either the medicine from my doctor worked really well this time or my dad was overly enthusiastic playing doctor for me (cooking porridge, boiling herbal tea ectera) these few days that i recovered quickly. In 2 days, i regained my voice about 75%, which is a record for me since i usually take over weeks to recover.

However, Ange and i went down to Sarah's place in Simei last night for her belated surprise birthday celebration... We brought her present, cake and dinner since we secretly found out that she has not eaten. So... Ange wanted to buy Burger King so i thought i could just get a TenderGrill burger without sides or drinks since im sick.. Yet somehow i was encouraged to take a few fries. Below 15 strands i swear! And i woke up today with a bad sorethroat all over again. YIPPEE!

Sometimes i really can't stand myself. My throat hurts and my voice is not fully back yet. I hope when i conduct classes tml, i wont sing out of tune in front of all the parents :(

Anyway, 2 weeks back, we celebrated dear Brian's ~~21st~~ 22nd Birthday! After our last minute shopping for his present, Yin, Ching, Kelvin and i met up with the rest at Marche, VivoCity!

We were too busy gorging down the huge table full of food that we didn't take any photos at the start. (Actually, i don't really like Marche. I feel that it's pointless to have a sub-kopitiam style inside a restaurant. What's the point of having these small eateries when you still have to pay seperately for them? Why not charge us at XXXdollars instead and make it a buffet??) Then, it was time for the ice-cream cake that Min bought!

Min acting normal as she opened up the cake, HongSiong looking curious and Yin forever camera ready. OMG, is that a cow in the back??! ... ...

TADAH!!! HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY BRIAN!!! Princesses for you!!!

Hahahahaha! Great choice, Min! Check out HongSiong's stunned expression. The cow had on the same expression, guess it wasn't amused by the cake. *shrugs* I'm sure Princesses are Brian's favourite characters to see on his birthday cake!

See?! Happy guy with smoke all over him. Isn't it amazing? How did he do that? 4 easy steps:

1st, you light up your own birthday cake.

2nd, proceed to blow out the candles.

3rd, put the dry ice into your glasses and shake them till the smoke comes out. This takes about 5 minutes. Place both glasses on either side of you & fan them like a mad man. This takes another 10 minutes.

Last, act nonchalant then strike a happy pose with your cake!

Erm, i think he might not be that happy with the cake after all... He's chopping Ali Baba's gf's face!

I shouted: "i want Ariel (the little mermaid)! Ok lah Brian, Snow White give you!" LOL.

Nobody likes Snow White 'cause she's the ugliest :(

Then, it's presents time! And we didn't take any picture of the presents.

Min headed out to find the cow that was grazing by our window.

Yin and i both wanted to get on the cow but it was not easy at all! After much help and shrieking, i got up the cow too! Yay! (those are my shorts you are seeing!)

Where shall we go? I'll drive you! Starts engine... MoooOooooOooooo...

We reached the toilet and expectedly, we took pictures! After which, we planned to head over to Powerhouse. Ching, Kelvin, HongSiong and KeeSiong left...

It's been so crazily long since i entered a club. Those were the days... *wistful look*

We searched around for a table, drank and played silly games. (Lazy to describe in full detail) Lightheaded, we danced for a while and headed to the ladies.

Predictable spot for camwhoring again. Bee looks super cute here! I wish i knew how to cross my eyes.

Around 4am, we left StJames and drove over to... East Coast Park! We sat on this merry-go-round and squealed with laughter like a bunch of silly teenagers.

After breakfast at Mcs around 5am... this was the aftermath of our driver, birthday boy and girlfriend.

We are the survivors! Just check out ~~our~~ my eyebags! (I kind of thought i was a tiger that night) I realized i love to camwhore the night after clubbing, when i look the most like shyt with the lack of rest. If you noticed, i have changed my picture on the side of my blog. The previous photo was post-Zouk too, i think.

Yin and i had junkfood from the 7-11 and we forgot about our KinderJoy! It was left in the carrier :( When it was nearing 6am, Min drove us over to Bugis (where she stays) so that we can cab home from there. Oh ya, we listened to realllyyy old tunes in the car on our way to Bugis -.-" By 7am, we were home!

It wasn't what i expected, but it was still a wild night after all (: I love baby for understanding and letting me hang out at Powerhouse with my friends for the night since he couldn't join us. Once in awhile, i do miss this night life too.

Maybe we could have more of such gatherings with everybody, just like old times? With baby, Ching, Kelvin, Jason, Khoon, KeeSiong and the rest too. I guess it might be hard 'cause we are all busy now and have moved on (in a way)... It's good and bad but honestly, those wild nightouts in 2007 were a great memory i will hold to my heart. I'm glad to still have my besties with me though, and you know who you are! (:

Yawns, my eyes are very blurry now (or maybe it's the effect of the eye mask essence sinking into my eyes) and i think i should go offline soon. I can't believe i managed to type this whole entry in my 1/2 sleepy mode. Don't know what i'm blabbering about half the time la! Pardon my typos!

It's back to ~~reality~~ the working world tomorrow (for 1 day)! I hope i recover 100% by the time i wake up! Signing off, with a deceptive-looking bottle that tastes crappy, Shirley!
